if you thought that last post was about you it wasn't. unless you are a total stranger who happened to make an inflammatory and disturbing comment on a friend's facebook post.

however, if you saw yourself in that last post, that is something else entirely. and apparently it is going around.

the question of how we are to treat those with differing beliefs and understanding is one always worthy of discussion. wars are fought on just such questions, or at least, justified on the notion.

i'd like to think the answer is found in something akin to empathy, but I don't know that there aren't, also, just far too many answers to make the querier sleep well
